About the Role
Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.
This role operates on 12-hour shifts: 6 days on – 7 days off. The candidate is required to start early anywhere from 3.30AM, 4.30AM or 7.30AM depending on the line they are assigned to.
Responsibilities
Operating machinery, including machine setting and fault finding
Warehouse duties including operating a forklift
Recording/ Reporting of production data – including completing downtime sheets
Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards
Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures
About you
Experience in a food manufacturing environment
Forklift license is highly desirable
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Self-starter and proactive nature
Strong problem-solving skills
