Exciting opportunities have become available for motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join the Coronary Care/High Dependency ward at the private hospital in Hobart. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and supporting nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• Specialised nursing experience in cardiology/high dependency;
• Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in cardiology/high dependency is highly favourable;
• Working with Vulnerable People check;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work well independently and within a team;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Proficient computer skills.

REMUNERATION $36.88 to $49.37 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics. The facility has a Critical Care Unit with 10 beds and a step-down unit with 15 beds.
